After a long day of hiking through the rain-soaked trails of Torres del Paine, National Park Chile. We arrived at base camp; we were surprised to find our bed for the night—a rooftop tent perched on a platform among the trees.

 

     Quickly shedding our wet clothing and hanging them under the tent to dry, we cozied up inside, we were surprised by how comfortable and spacious it was.

The idea of a rooftop tent sparked our imaginations, how could we bring one camping everywhere we go? After a great night sleep we spent much of the hike that day discussing the possibility of bringing this concept back home with us, and from there. We went Onwards.
